New friends

Postby Noir » Mon Dec 13, 2010 5:42 pm

Hi! I moved to the area about 4 months ago, it was a pretty massive move and i'm trying to find new friends. (I know there's a forum for people moving but it seems more about areas to live than making friends etc).

I'm 22, have a pretty manic job but like reading, writing, anime_ _ _

if you want to find out more send me a message :)

Hi I moved to the area just over a year ago and would love to meet some locals. I am a young at heart 50 year old work full time in Tunbridge Wells. Love living near the sea but need more to do on winter evenings

seeems like their is a gap here for some kind of meet and greet situation, somewhere for the newbies to go to and have a chat with similar people.I would like this to happen and even though I have a partner it would still be nice to meet others who have just moved here like myself.

_ _ _do you mean like an "Introduce Yourself" section?

New and current members alike, write a paragraph about yourself
As much or as little as your care to offer!
What attracted you 1066online?
Do you have a connection to Hastings, or is this forum merely a great place for discussion?

What are your interests?

I was thinking more of a face to face meeting with like minded people, a social gathering I guess.

hi there !!

I suppose the best way to meet people, with a shared interest / commitment, would be to join a local Residents Association

I don't know how to find the nearest one to anyone in HSL though !!

We could all ask about derelict buildings, unsafe roads, contact emails to the relevant Council members, M.P. together
