Good afternoon
I am keen to learn if the Pageant of Heroes that was in planning stages in September 1913 took place and if anyone has any details or photographic records relating to it.
Thanks.
Phil

Richard. I am very grateful for your reply which is indeed "very reasonable" as you state. The 'Zero acknowledgement' is purely down to the fact that I received no email notification that my post had even been approved let alone that there had been a response.
I have, since posting, found a few newspaper articles, on the British Newspaper Archive, which indicate that the Pageant did not cover it's costs but clearly it did go ahead.
I am grateful for your input.
Phil

Hello, In 2014 I did an exhibition in the History House (21 Courthouse Street) on the 1914 Pageant of Heroes. There was also a Historical and Floral Pageant in 1913.

I am in the History House on Fridays (mostly) or could email some documents if you are interested.

A number of plaques were also placed around the town as part of the pageant.
