The Pfizer vaccine against Covid sounds like a huge relief all round.
It doesn't involve the traditional means of injecting weakened or dead virus cells into the body to stimulate the defence system; it is done instead by genetic engineering, meaning it can be rapidly tweaked to combat whatever pandemic is floating around.
Traditional vaccines take at least 10 years to develop.
