Short of putting posters on lamp posts and asking your neighbours I would also try the site posted by Mymbles.

Best of luck, she looks gorgeous.

Hello Emma, sorry to hear such sad news
from what I have heard about cats (and dogs) they like to have company either from the same litter or another, at least this is what makes them happy amongst themselves.
Do you know the family where your cat came from or might you start again with more than one ?

all best wishes

Richard

I'm really sorry Emma. Having lost a few cats in my life I know they are very special and it's heart breaking especially when it's in such horrible circumstances. You gave her a good life and she had a loving family which is more than many cats have. Best wishes.

Thank you for all your kind messages. We got Rosie from Bluebell ridge with her brother when they were kittens so now he is pining for her which is heartbreaking to see :( My sister who actually owned both cats has a young toddler so it wouldn't be a good idea to get another cat just yet but thank you for the suggestion x
