Anyone know this name or any connection???
I knew him around 1940ish time_ _ _..He lived in Hollington Old Lane St Leonards on sea Sussex,,,,,He would have been about 16 at the time_ _ _
His g'ma or mother buried in Church in the wood_ _ _
All his friends lived around the Hollington area_ _ _..'Chub' Collins, Lew Collins..Dennis Gadd and others_ _ _all were good mates at the time.
Wonder where and how they all R now.?????..

I knew Ken Veness,When I started work as an apprentice plumber with
Eldridge and Cruttenden in 1957 and he was my mate for 5years.When I left Hastings in1964 we lost touch,I know he was married,cant remember his wifes name but he had a daughter called Angela.Sadly I heard Ken died
in the mid to late 60s,I do remember Chub Collins he also worked for EandC
My predessor with Ken was a chap called Brian White aka Chasher,Who as far as I know still lives in the town.Hope this is some help,I have only just picked up this through trawling through memories of my hometown.
