Am looking for information about a local photographer named Roy Hudson, for research purposes. Believed to have had shops in the Hastings / Bexhill / Eastbourne area, during 1950 / 60 '

Regards, Rod

Kind regards, Rod Green

The premises are now occupied by a Bengal Restuarant and you can see a photograph of it on a site relating to John Thorp (photographer) 1838-1902who used the studios in the 1870's..Also Google Hermann Warchawski who gave his name to the Studios,he also had a shop in Brighton..

Hi Rod,

I was wondering if you could help me?!!

I have a photo of my Nan taken by Roy Hudson in 1951 which I think was taken inside the Marina building on Hastings seafront. I dont suppose you would know if / how i could obtain another copy ??

Many Thanks, Angie.

Hi Angie,
My main suggestion would be to take it to M/s Marriots ( Photographers ) at White Rock, Hastings, who should be able to scan and copy it for you. Apart from that any friend with Scanner / Printer should be able to help. Have done it for friends myself, but have never been too happy with the results. Let me know how you get on.
