John maylam homes/guestling house communities

Anybody have any whereabouts of kids or staff from around 1978/80 that were at the said establishments. Guestling house - de Cham road - braybrooke road etc

Unless you have already done so, a start point might be to search on FaceBook for the names of the people you would like to find. I am not on it but I understand that there are also groups on there whose common link is that of a school or social group.

In addition Friends Reunited might be useful. Hope that helps

My late mother (Mrs. FAIR) worked here during the evenings, preparing the boys for bed. Miss. PEPLOW, her sister Mrs. HOWE and her husband Mr. HOWE were the people in charge. They were visited from time to time by Sister Mary Lawrence, a nun and sister to Miss. PEPLOW !
