Hi everyone, I used to work at Glenside Childrens home in the summers as a housemother under the direction of Mrs Banham. I do have a couple of photos , one a group one sat outside and one of A little boy called Terence who was my main charge . kind regards pippa (Auntie Philippa)

I think I do remember you, Me my 3 brothers and sister were there you may remember us

Tony, Ruth, Nigel, David and Robert Sayers we all went to All Saints and were at Glenside 1967 to mid 70s. The Convent school was called I think Sacred Hearts.
The other families I remember were the Edwards, Nowns and Robert Curtess

Glenside children's home was part of our upbringing how so many people have disappeared. I can understand it was difficult in those days. I was forced to have fights in the home by a bully. But if anybody holding grudges out there we are all adults now it would be nice to hear from all of you. I must praise the banham family for everything thankyou
