I briefly worked with a Gemma Broadhurst at Ashdown Hse. in the mid 1970s. I know she married, but I do not know her married name. I'm so sorry. I have made a huge mistake. BROADHURST was her married name, & her maiden name was GOLDEN ! So sorry !

I am researching the Broadhurst family of Hastings/St. Leonards. John Broadhurst 1816 - 1861 and his son Robert 1845 - 1878. Robert's only son was Edgar C Broadhurst. He was my mother-in-law's father. Edgar's great grandson lives in London and is keen to trace his history. As I understand the Broadhurst family were involved in the horse and carriage business progressing to be the first motorised taxi service in Hastings/St. Leonards.
