Very long shot - am looking into family tree....my Grandfather's two brothers were born in Wexford, Ireland - Charles Turner (DoB: 13/4/1892) and Robert Edwin Turner (DoB; 18/1/1896) Both signed up, fought in and survived WW1.

Robert (Irish Guards - injured at Loos in 1915 and gassed in Flanders 1918) didn't return to Ireland and got married from Bath St. Poplar, London c.1921.

Charlie (Royal Navy - survuved the sinking of the Falmouth in 1916) came home to Ireland for a few years but went to England c.1927.

Both brothers ended up in Hastings and worked as house painters and decorators. Charlie died in 1963 and Robert in 1973.

That's it...the sad sum total of my ancestors in England....any help / pointers towards their granchildren (??? - who would be all 60+ years now, I reckon) would be hugely appreciated.
