Road Sweepers

Postby gemma » Tue Dec 19, 2006 7:12 pm

The streets are so dirty since the new council contract.
Manual road sweepers do not exist anymore it's those green machines and they are useless.
What do you think?

We have manual roadsweepers and green machines here. Why do they allways seem to sweep in the pouring rain! They are not very efficient, one elderly neighbour comes out every few weeks to sweep the pavement! It is disgusting, as the council tax is expensive, money down the drain!

Which area do you live in?
We have been writing letters as a residents association to the council but still there are no sweepers.

They seem to be better in Hollington even the police are seen.
It is terrible down this end (Southwater Area).
