Hmmm. We were in the Jenny Lind yesterday - a visit to the Old Town from my current home in Cambridgeshire to meet up with friends etc - and it was actually very pleasant indeed! A good mix of people - I reckon 20-30ish - friendly bar-staff and very family-friendly. Prior to that we'd looked in the FILO - another pub I've enjoyed in the past - but sadly there wasn't room for our party of ten to sit down_ _ _.

It's true that pubs in general are having a tough time of it - but I really do think the Old Town pubs that survive are doing their absolute best_ _ _
