Re: [Poll] which is best - hastings or st leonards
Having lived in parts of both I'm going to have to vote for St Leonards. Good poll Marina, should have been done years ago.

Aaaargh, I'm torn
Brought up in Ore Village (churchill Ave), Coghurst woods, Iron bridge, North Seat, old Barn, Spoon, Fairlight Glen, Ore Valley, Fond memories and a great place for children. I moved to St Leonaeds when I left home, the old town is the heart of Hastings AND the heart of the wider area, including St. Leon_ _ _.
_ _ _.this is not a cut and dry issue.
_ _ __ _ _I'm going to have to create another forum ID so I can vote for both.

Got to go with Hastings on this, if only for the Old Town vibe.
Re: Which is best, Hastings or St Leonards?
St Leonards-on-Sea gets my vote :0) It's only a short walk from the old town but is far enough away for peace, tranquility, somewhere to park and it has fabulous vibes all of its own!!

I live in st leonards and agree its the better place but the parking is poor,im forever trying to find somewhere I can park without paying.
Enjoy life.you never know when it will end.

Thinking on:
St Leonards is best for residential use, Hastings is better for shopping, eating, pubbing and things to do in general.
