The salute was a 'red herring' totally disowned and condemned by UKIP and is clearly not acceptable to any political party, fullstop.
Even Prince Harry was scolded for a full salute in Nazi uniform, albeit at a fancy dress party.
As for foreign wars they will mainly be linked to Uncle Sam and his regard for the balance of power and security for his "friends".
This will not change as people will fight over territory, religion and security until the world is ended.

Re: UKIP
Thinking UKIP will bring change let alone real change is a little bit optimistic If the Tories can not win here in a once safe Tory seat, then how a more right wing party will is beyond me. Looking at their Councillors most seem old, male, white, middle class and lacking in much experience of running Councils. Not really that representative of the U.K.population as a whole. Will their voters drift back to the Conservatives at the General Election?
Re: UKIP
I voted UKIP and will continue to do so,I am tired of the main parties and how complacent they have become towards the voters, not to mention their policies, enough is enough for me,UKIP all the way from now on.

Because when theres a recession historically people move to the right and thats exactly where UKIP are. I dont agree with their policies. They want to cut state spending, abolish inheritance tax, they dont believe in global warming. They want to increase spending on the armed forces. They want to cut tax. They want a flat rate of tax which is going to basically favor the rich and they are against gay marriage.
Lastly they want to bring back hunting and they oppose political correctness (or good manners as I call them)
Two of their candidates have been sacked in the last few weeks one for denying the holocaust the other for doing a nazi salute.

So where did you read all that negative spin, on the Tory Central Office website? Name me a mainstream party which hasn't got its OWN wackos and eccentrics - some of them in office even as I write.
Anyhoo, if you want 5 years of the hopeless coalition, or worse Mr Miliband then the answer's simple - don't vote UKIP!!

Re: UKIP
I think the real threat to everyone is the creeping rule from Brussels which UKIP is pointing out and now the Tories are eventually waking up to the importantance of this to our cherished democracy.
The Germans may have lost two major wars in the past but they are winning now via economic and bureaucratic means.
At least UKIP are pushing some buttons but whether a vote for them diminishes the Tories to the extent that Liberals get into bed with Labour I don't know.
Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana.

Yes this IS the real threat, and we need parties like UKIP to prod the government of the day into action. If the main parties feel that they are losing votes to UKIP and other parties, they'll sit up and take notice.
The Europe issue needs to be addressed, or one day we'll wake up and find ourselves governed by a body so remote that we have no influence over it at all.

Irrespective of Cameron's 'reassurances' and weasel-words of a referendum, he can't change anything (now nor in the future!) without withdrawing from 'the club'. As a matter of fact none of the established parties have an interest in changing anything - indeed it's the very last thing they want because the EU is where their post-domestic future jobs lie for themselves and their family/cronies. Our only salvation is UKIP, and even they can't do anything about the status quo - it's too late.

Call me a conspiracy theorist but I think the objective is to bankrupt this country and force us to go cap-in-hand to the ECB, who will then bail us out on condition that we join the Eurozone. :yikes:

Re: UKIP
I have joined UKIP. Don't forget there is a lot or organised dis-information being peddled by the three 'traitor' parties against UKIP. Also, it's worth remembering that there are quite a few of the big three who have had or have some of there lot in prison. They are terrified of UKIP. The big three have destroyed this country over the last few decades, it's time for a party that will look after it's own. Unfortunately the corrupt and unfair electoral system will make it difficult, especially the postal vote fiddling by Labour.
All three traitor parties have been proven to be unfit to rule, time for a refreshing change, before it's too late, if it's not already.
