Fascists in Hastings

I am appalled that the BNP is fieldling candidates for the Coouncil elections next May 4th.

The BNP may now try to present itself as a respectable political party. In fact they are a fascist party. Currently they seek to attract votes on the basis of racism, Islamophobia, anti-semitism, homophobia and the vilification of refugees and asylum seekers. But fascists also stand for the expulsion of Black and Asian people from this country, the destruction of the trade unions and the elimination of basic democratic rights.

I welcome Michael Foster's statement in the Observer last Friday and I believe that this dangerous situation requires a new and united response from all those dedicated to freedom and democracy. Now is the time for all of us to combine our forces and unite in a broad and common front against this common threat.

I call, as a matter of the greatest urgency, for all democratic poliltical partiesto unite against the alarming rise in racism and fascism in Hastings. On May 4th. I urge all people in Tressel and Hollington wards to use their votes to eradicate this odious faction

Hmm, people are fed up with the relentless influx of immigrants, and seeing the British way of life gradually eroded by people that don't give a damn about our culture, I'm not saying I agree with the BMP, but who else will speak out on behalf for the indigenous population of our country?

Re BNP: It's a free country, why should they not field candidates - just don't vote for them- problem solved!

With regards to imigration, please remember that many are British subjects and many hundreds of thousands fought and died in two world wars for 'OUR' country.

We may have got mixed up way back_ _ _but many of us have an ancestory history that has worked our land and been born to it from way back too.
Generations of bloodlines that go way back.
Afor the Romans, afor 1066 there were the people o Britannia. Now i appreciate that its pie in the sky to claim blood lines going back to original tribes, but a few hundred years is not much in family generations.

To be honest if our government were not so ridiculous about political correctness, there would be no need for the BNP, but when foreign races are afforded more rights than our own, it raises hackles amongst the natives.

In ancient times the tribes welcomed outsiders, outsiders were given the protection o the tribe, but it were an integration an a whole big respect for the native ways an beliefs.
Now it's the other way round.

You cant blame the natives for being pissed at it.

sorry i agree with adrian and others_ _ _i hate racists, but i can see why people will vote for the bnp because of the backlash of poor immigration policies from this government_ _ _ this is a free country and the bnp have a right to canvas votes, i dont like most of their ideals, but _ _ _. u can see why they are getting bigger support_ _ _

personally, i think the mixed culture brings colour and change to english life_ _ _ however, shame some of the migranting overseas people dont except the the british way of life_ _ _ they dont always help themselves!!!

I think a mix of cultures can bring a lot to a town. I was born and brought up in London. Moved down here in 1975. I'm not racist at all but think if people wanna come here, they should work. >:)

Its not the BNP you all should be looking at,its this government and its crazy immigration policies.
The British people will never vote in any extremist party to power,we,despite, everything are very conservative about these things.
However,when preference is given to immigrants and asylum seekers over our own,then sparks will fly.For example:_
A young relative of mine was homeless through no fault of her own,the Council was contacted and the answer given was,and I quote,"we are only housing immigrants and asylum seekers now".
So why does anyone wonder at the anger building up in our country.
