Tesco Ore Village

Rumour has it that Tesco are looking to get planning permission to convert the Oddfellows Arms in Ore Village into one of their Tesco Express stores. What do you think of this idea?

it's probably about future competition because BandQ are soon vacating their current site for an Aldi store to set up shop according to leaflets given out to the local shops.

I'll stick with the Coop, shame if B and Q goes, very handy (along with Winchesters). Wouuld rather the 'Odds' stayed as a pub myself.

Winchesters need to capitalise on the BnQ closer, increase their range of stock_ _ __ _ _..if not the drive to Ravenside for DIY stuff is going to be a right pain.
