Priory Meadow - new shops

Postby Richard » Fri Jul 05, 2013 4:35 pm

I hear 'HandM' are moving into the spaces left by the departed 'Burtons' and into the 'Nursery' floor above.
At least 'MandS' are staying put and look out for their latest store nearly completed at Glyne Gap, with twice the floor space of Priory Meadow.

What the recent Pirate Boat / Galleon is doing in the Square near the bronze cricketer I have no idea, someone said it was a gift from an American company ?

any ideas ?

A US sport team had it made to promote a game or a tour in the UK. They donated it to Pirate Day, cheaper than lugging it all the way home.

The MandS store at Ravenside seems to be taking an inordinate length of time to finish. They must of hit snags. I do know that that piece of land is still contaminated from the old gas works, The trees planted up that end of the car park died in short order, the ones planted nearer Halfords are doing a little better but hey still don't look healthy.

Yup GK is right, some NFL team, can't recall the name (Too lazy to google).

I've also heard HandM too and aren't Tred's moving in too?
