London is expensive to live in but has good and cheap veg and fruit courtesy of 'foreign' shops selling vast quantities on every corner of the streets.
In Hastings we had nothing like this until very recently - now there is a shop next to 'Halfords' on Queens Road, which seems to be the first venture in that direction.
Has anyone else shopped there?

Yes, had a look round a bought a few things. Prices seem good and the fruit was decent enough.
Re: You know you want it
Is it me or is there no farmers market type thing? I saw the baker at Thursday market but he was pretty much alone. Hastings is surrounded by farmland and all along the A21 are the fruit stalls. Wouldn't it be lovely if we could entice them to come to town once a week?
Re: You know you want it
The Thursday Market has stalls with plenty of local fruit and veg., in season, you must have viewed at the end of the day.
