Camber Sands

Postby Richard » Thu Aug 25, 2016 12:34 pm

RIP the poor souls who died yesterday!!
I don't see what happened unless people were washed up somehow from a boat sinking because Camber Sands is very shallow and normally safe for bathing!

When the tide is right out there are quite major undulations in the sand levels. People can soon get "out of their depth" as the tide comes back in, especially non-swimmers.

Camber obviously needs a lifeguard, beach patrol, or something, as there was another death a couple of months back.

RIP
