glenside children's home

I am still trying to find people who lived at glenside children's home 120 old London Road hastings. I want to find any residences and staff who worked there in 60s 70s upwards till when they closed. There's a chap who commented on my last bogged . If he wants to contact me please do my name is robert.

hi Robert, my name is Steve and i lived at glenside in 1982-83. at the time it was being run by a guy called Mick, his wife Carmena(?) and a pal called Bernie plus various other staff. i visited the area a couple of years ago and the lovely new owner allowed me to go and see my old room.

I remember a few of the other kids, one who'd lost half a leg in a bike accident, a lad we called Pinky and my best bud' in their although we lost touch, Aubrey.

Good times in bad times ;)
