A Victorian Pile

Postby Fjh78 » Sun Nov 01, 2020 10:13 pm

Good evening one and all.

This is a long shot but I’m hoping someone on here who has an interest in local history might recall a pamphlet titled “A Victorian Pile” ? I’m afraid I don’t know the authors name but I do know that it was written by a local man. It was about a building known most recently as St Johns, previously as Dunclutha, or St Helens House situation at the top of Dunclutha Road. The building was demolished in 2001. I first had sight of his pamphlet in the mid 1990s and would very much like to find out if there is a copy still in existence.
