Re: Whats On!!
Hi St Leonard
As I run the site on my own in my spare time it would not be practical to administer a What's On section - I really struggle to keep the site up to date as it is and rely on visitors informing me of alterations needed to the listings shown. For example the map took two years to complete and still contains a few minor bugs to this day.
Great idea but totally inpractical i'm affraid.

Re: Whats On!!
How about creating a New forum entitled something like 'Coming Events' and only registered members can post coming events
or
You could ask a couple members if they want help update the event forum when they hear of any updates or other members messaging so someone can put it in the forum
hope that makes sense

Why is "abbreviation" such a long word?

Re: Whats On!!
Hi CSL
I have added a forum section for what's on - at the moment it's open to everyone to post - we'll see how it goes for a while as regards popularity.

Re: Whats On!!
After 3 years it's safe to say the What's On forum section hasn't proved very popular, despite being a free place to advertise any local events there haven't been many takers.
Long term I plan to abandon this and have been working on providing events listings in association with a third party instead. WhereCanWeGo.com
The new page for events listings will be here_ _ _
Hastings What's On Guide
Once styled it will be integrated with the rest of the site via the side menu.
You are of course still welcome to publicise your events in the forum but the dedicated section will be disappearing soon.
