How about a buy and sell section?

Just a thought as I am looking for a cheap car for work nothing too expensive,something like a Citroen Saxo,and thought why not have a section where people can buy and sell things.

We gave this a try about 5 years ago with not much success.

Happy to try again if you think it's worthwhile. I think most people use friday-ad.

Can I get some more opinions please?

Nice idea, but I don't think this forum gets enough regular posters for it to work well. I can see there being a few posts with no replies and the one's that do, get replies a few months after the topic was started.

Like Geoff says think most people use the Friday-ad and more recently that Hastings for sale page on Facebook.
