Yes !! a great idea, along with 'Facebook' presence, as we can then reach a larger audience - especially if I can manage to get a competition up and running.
Or anyone else can do the same, for that matter.

There is already a Facebook page for 1066online in general. Are you saying you would like a separate one for the forum? My only concern is that people would post on there rather than here. Best to keep it all in one place if we can me thinks.

Hi Geoff,
With Facebook I guess I meant I thought there was already a seperate entity showing comments on the forum here, a bit like 'twitter', where you are linked to topics but can't directly post into the 'converstaions' shown just as 'snippets'.
Shows what little I know about 'social media'.
