Not too happy with the Pier if im honest,lets hope it gets better with time.

I agree roy,
And whilst the Fairground rides must be a big hit with small kids there is nothing much else yet.
Perhaps a visual link to the underground skate-board/biker development nearby and something for the older folks.
There is a Crime Museum across the road and yet I don't feel it has really caught on, perhaps more links to that as well from the Pier as a sort of tourist trail.
People may be unaware of what is available and looking for advice?
The potential is there undoubtedly.
