Bexhill Online

Postby Geoff » Sun Dec 25, 2016 12:02 am

One of my achievements of 2016 was acquiring the domain http://bexhillonline.com - I would like to do something productive with it next year, maybe using the best ideas from 1066.

I can see from the server stats which sections get the most visits, but this only proves which pages are better optimised for Google. If anyone will be so kind, I would like to hear which parts of 1066online that you find the most useful or interesting.

I guess that it is the history - in one form or another - plus new developments that are a success!!

How many hills does Bexhill have?
;)

Thanks Richard, very helpful.

I am lead to believe that 'bex' in old English means windy. Not many hills to speak of though eh.

A taxi driver told me there is only one hill!
but of course there is plenty of history too:

I discovered this site whilst googling for local history snippets, for me the bits I find most interesting and check for any updates are the local history and photo galleries. More of a lurker on the forum these days...

Just out of interest and me being nosey, what are the most popular sections of 1066online?

Good luck with the Bexhill website!
