Have Hastings school's improved?

Postby bettyboop2024 » Sun May 26, 2024 12:28 pm

Hi all, we're thinking of moving to Hastings and have been doing lot's of research - seen lot's of posts about Hastings school's not being so good (with an emphasis that the secondary's are worse than the primary's), however a lot of these posts are dated quite a few years ago. Just wondering if any locals / parents can tell me what they're like now and if they've improved ? Thanks in advance!

Yes slowly but schools are only as good as the parents and pupils input i.e attendance and homework etc. All schools across the country are struggling to attract good quality full time teachers as a national shortage and Hastings school suffer from this. All I can say is that my kids are doing well, on course to get good GCSE etc and go to college.
