Is this a nice area? Also, does anyone know what will happen to the college near here when it closes down

Quarry Hill, St Leonards

Hi

This is a pretty good area, I have heard no bad stories anyway. Obviously there will be plenty of students around with it being so close to the college.

First i've heard of the college closing, are you sure about this?

Quarry Hill is a nice place to live but if you have a car - be careful, it will most probably be broken in to at some point. Also the council are planning to have no parking in Archery Rd . This would impact on other roads by the college. And as for the college, who knows if it will be moving. I have worked at the college for 8 years and am told evey year we will be moving "soon ".

Okay, I guess that kind of answers my question too. Where are they thinking of moving to Louise?

I have now heard that the planned parking restrictions in Archery Road are not going to happen at the moment so parking in Quarry Hill will stay the same, a nightmare when the students are at college, otherwise quiet.
