_ _ _.how to find private landlolrds was the original question - not whether St Leonards was the best place on earth_ _ __ _ _.

Imagine you want to rent a place out to people, where would you advertise?
and what is wrong with using an Agency such as 'Estate Agency' ?
Presumably a Landlord pays a fee for the job.

My friends look on the following:-

1. Your Move

2. rightmove

etcetera

what is wrong with this?

Planning a big move to the coast ( from the Leeds area )- did a whistle stop tour from Whitstable right round to Bournemouth and guess what : Hastings was the place that stood out a mile.. it seems to have everything I like.
But, having done more post visit web searches.. some of the things I've read are kind of putting me off. I don't mind 'an edge' to a town.. in fact prefer it ( liked Bmouth but prob too posh and pricey for me). Eastbourne would probably be 'easier'.. but it didn't grab me like Hastings. It's work that bothers me.. does Hastings need another artist in education ? (I work with all ages and abilities ). I'm hard working , talented , frank and modest in equal measure .. realistic !

6 months later_ _ _ better late than not at all eh ? :Thank u delightful people for sending your views and words of wisdom- neg and pos ! I'm a bit of a ditherer.. got way laid by Bristol ( realised that , if I can avoid it I don't want to live in a big mucky city again- where car is king ). I'm visiting Hastings and Bournemouth ( Boscombe is a bit arty-farty u know !) again in April to finally get to grips with this dilemma . I have of course meanwhile looked into my work prospects in both places- and it's much of a muchness.
PS- Doesn't everyone have a bit of chav in 'em ? Salt of the earth !
PPS I'm a very keen swimmer.. does anyone know of any sea swimming groups in Hastings ?
