Hello, I am currently flat hunting (via internet) and shall be moving to the area in a couple of months. I have been impressed by Warrior Square (architecture, location, views), however my research of the area has produced mixed results. Some have said avoid at all cost, whereas others claim the place has changed for the better.
I would be grateful for your advice on Warrior Sq and areas to avoid in St.Leonards.
I look forward to your kind replies.

Advice Please about moving to St. Leonards?
Re: Advice Please about moving to St. Leonards?
depends what you are used to and where you are relocating from !!
A flat can be hell anywhere if noisy neighbours are next to you and you are sensitive to noise so it is perhaps dependent on 'hidden' factors as well as the particular location.
West of London Road is said by some to be more pleasant_ _ _
People are generally more relaxed in Hastings/St. Leonards

Hello Richard,
I'm relocating from London, I'll be in St Leonard for one year working at Conquest. I'm more concerned about safety and returning late night.
Much grateful for your advice.
Thanks

Hello Richard,
In my advice if you shifting to St. Leonard, it was a good decision because it is seriously a nice place to live, the area is full of air and you get natural air at there. Ill suggest you to shift there and it is too close to main market so it would very helpful to you. So keep pack your luggage and ready to travel St. Leonard because it is a awesome area for moving. And the cost of houses is not so high. Thanks

I suggest that you come down for a couple of long weekends and walk around the area late at night and see what you think having done so. There are a number of guest houses that are reasonably priced in Cambridge Gardens which is 10 mins walk away; there are others closer but I have found a little more expensive. Whenever I visit and walk back along the promenade or down London Rd from relatives places to BB have not experienced particular concerns.
