Hello!
I am 26, single, and looking for a 1 or 2 bedroomed place in Hastings or St Leonards. I am attracted by the beautiful victorian(?) architecture, and really like the large green spaces such as Alexandra Park, but I am very concerned about the criminal gangs, drug dealers, prostitutes etc. I work in Lewes, but would like to sell my car and use the trains instead - so a station needs to be within reasonable walking distance.
Can anyone suggest an area that is nice to live in, has other young people and a general vibrancy (I'm young and single!), is close to a train station, is not plagued by criminals, gangs of muggers and scary-looking druggie types?
Tall order (or perhaps not?), but I would really appreciate any advice!
