Best place to look for IT employment?

Hello everyone.

I would like to move to Hastings as soon as I have a job offer. Is the town centre the only place where I have a change of getting IT (1st/2nd/helpdesk) work?

Also, how hard would it be for someone who doesn't drive to get around, i.e. to and from work? I know this would vary depending on where I live, but is there any kind of reliable public transport?

Many thanks.

Jamie

Hi Jamie

I'd say the town centre is the least likely place you'll find that sort of job. There are several industrial estates with all sorts of businesses. I would definately point your job search in that direction first.

Public Transport is fairly good to the populated areas. As you say it depends where you live. We have bus maps and timetables on the site (see menu to the left) for an idea of frequency once you know the location.
