I'm on my third attempt to move to Hastings from SE London. I've previously lost out on properties in Springfield Rd, Dane Rd and De Cham Avenue. This time, I'm targeting properties in Braybrooke and St Helen's roads. Are these generally good roads?

Yep, Braybrooke and St helens both nice. St Helens particularly, though a little busy for me (it's one of the key roads into town).

im also looking at propertys in the same areas. i moved out of west london just over a year ago moved to cornwall. boy what a big big mistake, i hate cornwall , ok for hols but no longer.

I have found trying to buy a flat in St Leonard's to be an expensive and time-consuming nightmare. It seems that my third 4th attempt has just broken down. This is after I have paid for a structural engineer and a homebuyers survey.
This has been really stressful and on each occasion unnecessary , if those involved in the selling process had been truthful. As during my previous attempts to buy I have been told blatant lies by estate agents, and sellers.

On my present attempt; if the estate agent is telling the truth, then the sellers solicitor can be added to this list.

So be very careful when putting an offer in on a flat and I would warn anyone wanting to buy. Prior to booking a survey always insist on seeing the lease and deeds first.

I had avoided making this mistake on the previous properties, but for a variety of reasons, I did not follow my rule on the present property and have made an expensive mistake.
