St Mary's Terrace?! if it's more than about one third up i can only be extremely envious as you have probably the second-best view in town (after High Wickham)!!! A good friend of mine has lived near the top for over ten years. It's okay down there; you might get the odd visitor or three venture past in summer, and possibly the odd slightly inebiated person wandering down from 'The Angel' after a good Friday or Saturday night at closing time but that's about it. As you will no doubt have spotted already, the road is strictly access-only, parking can be a problem - though some houses have dedicated spaces opposite - and there was actually a landslip problem some years ago, though that is now history.
Enjoy it!!!

I agree with you Peter ! what a lovely spot ,St Mary's terrace is ,we always go walking over the West Hill and down into Milward road and the Crescent when we come on holidays ,( I used to live in Milward Crescent ) we were looking for holiday accomadation for next year and one of those lovely cottages came up on line to rent ,but sadly .not big enough for our ' tribe 'we have since found somewhere suitable .
