Gillsmans Hill/Ironlatch Avenue TN38

Does anyone know anything about this area in St Leonards? What the secondary schools are like. Would appreciate any feedback.

This is probably too late for you now but Ironlatch Avenue has some gorgeous houses. I am not sure where Gillsman Hill is though. If you meant by the roundabout end of Ironlatch Ave its lovely. If you mean Blackman Ave end, maybe not so nice as there is a council; area there. The schools have improved greatly although they are being closed and combined in august 2011 as Acadamies. You would need to research the schools as to making up your own mind. My son is at The Grove and is doing great. I have no complaints about the school now they have improved so much. They are also very strict now too. One piece of missed homework and I get a phonecall from his teacher >:)

Thank you for your reply, very helpful. I will moving in 4 weeks time and as it is by the roundabout end of Ironlatch Ave I am now obviously pleased with that. Especially grateful about the info on schools. I have just sent my son's application so should be hearing soon. Hopefully our decision to move out of London is the right one!
