Looking to move out of London to Sussex. Have seen a house in Filsham Road -- seems a nice quiet area, handy for the seafront. Too quiet??

Where are the nearest shops? Supermarket? Decent butcher? Pubs? Any inside knowledge welcome!

Which end of Filsham Road? There are local shops down the bottom in Bexhill Road (butchers, convenience store, paper shop, hardware shop, take-aways etc), or the top end is nearer Silverhill with plenty of shops and soon to be Asda.

Still looking at other houses so may be back to you for more inside knowledge_ _ _ 8)

Hi johnathan, a fairly busy road, but most of the houses are set back anyway. A nice road to live in my view despite the traffic.
