Hi
My wife and I moved to Hastings this weekend, and we can't wait to explore the town.
Right now, as we are living in piles of boxes and chaos, we need to find places to eat each evening (having had chips for three days in a row, this is now quite urgent_ _ _.). We have a small dog, and she can't be left alone in the house till she's more settled, so she needs to come with us.
Can anyone recommend a dog-friendly pub that does food in the evenings? We're In Old Town and are too knackered to travel too far for the time being, so this area would be great, although I'd love to hear of anywhere where we can take our dog for the future too. Cafes would be good to know about too.
Hope it's ok to post this here, it seemed the most relevant forum for new people!
Thanks for your suggestions.

Sorry you feel like that, but as there appear to be many places which fit the bill, I guess you personally have to find the opposite of what I need. Luckily there's lots of pubs to chose from.

The Hastings Arms is great place to have a Sunday pub lunch and they have a dog behind the bar too.
That said the landlady(?) can get a bit stressed when x 2 people occupy a six seater during the lunch period but is normally 'kind' enough to point this out to you.
