Quiet couple in 50s would like to rent long term a 2 bed house/flat in the area from a private landlord. We are excellent tenants and need somewhere in Dec 2012. We would be willing to advertise but no idea where to do that. Meanwhile we are posting on this forum in the hope that a private landlord will read this or someone will tell us a better place to advertise. Many thanks in advance for any help!

Hi
Have you tried Gumtree?
and Friday-ad
http://www.friday-ad.co.uk/hastings/pro ... ndRange=15
The only other place I can think of is in the local newsagents' windows.

Hello there,
Recently shifted to London. I want to buy a property for myself where a single family can live.
I need all your suggestions.
Thanks in advance

Re: Seeking Private Landlord!
I'm curious as to why you want a place in Hastings if you have moved to London! Clearly I'm missing something ..
The best website for accommodation is Rightmove, or try the Friday Ad. A lot of the letting agents who advertise on Rightmove are not actually that knowledgeable about what property is generally available - good idea to also nose around the area yourself and ask people.
