Baby/mum groups and activities

Postby Monkeygirl » Fri Aug 30, 2013 5:23 pm

Hi all!
I'm moving to st Leonard's soon hopefully (I'm very excited!) from London, and until I set up freelance (another bloody graphic designer I'm afraid) I'll be a stay at home mum with no friends in the area.. Til I can convince them to move here_ _ _

Anyone know any good baby clubs or mum meet ups so that I can meet some new friends and give my boy a chance to meet some new playmates too? Also does anyone know of any baby activities in the area, we do swimming at the moment and I'd love to carry on.

Thanks in advance for your help - I've heard from so many that you're a friendly bunch!

Hello there and welcome.

You could try the Bridge Cafe. I went on Wednesdays am for the singalong:

Good luck.

Thank you - we had driven past there a few times (so at least I know where it is!) that sounds great!

They do aquababes at Summerfield Leisure Centre. Seems a really nice leisure centre and the people organising it seemed friendly. Don't go myself but had contact with them through work.
