Hi I had a look myself on the Council site and must say I found it woefully lacking. Any locals fancy taking it up with the Council?

I did find this site that may be useful. I am sure that the last time I was down there was a company operating from Warrior Square.

However the train service to Rye & Winchelsea is good and also Eastbourne and Brighton & Lewes & Battle. The ordinary buses connect the various towns although not being local am not sure of frequency

In case you have not seen the council's site it is here

Clive Richardson also runs quite a few coach trips each year, but book early as he's very popular amongst locals. Pick up points include Warrior Square.

Have a look at the day tours and see if there's anything you fancy.

Yhere is also L.J. Edwards of Hailsham http://www.ljedwards.co.uk/, who pick-up locally and Rambler and Barcroft, although I'm not sure that the latter is still operating.

Rambler are still in business but it seems that they only do charters rather than their own organised trips for which customers book individual seats
