What is Warrior Sq station/Southwater Rd area like?

Hi, I would really appreciate any feedback. I am a single Mum looking to move to SLOS or Hastings with my teenage son. I have seen a house I like near Southwater Road and would like to know what the area is like these days. There are many negative comments about antisocial behaviour but form a few years ago. I gather the area has changed but will it be safe and peaceful at night time and as we come and go, by day and night?
