moving solo to Hastings things to do and work

leaving London and Hoping to view flats next week in Hastings and St Leonards have small budget but seen some for 80-90k and seem nice properties I have medical secretarial and legal experience where would be places to work down there as would not want to commute back to London woukd prob want part time

I am sure medical centres/GP's always want secretaries and Solicitors are never out of work.
Plenty of flats for 80-90k but many have hidden issues of maintenance costs/service charges and basements can be damp anywhere so merit extra caution.
Ask estate agents which areas are popular or up and coming and make sure security is good.
