Hello,
We are considering moving to Hasting from London as we really like the area and is much more afordable. I am just worried about secondary schools in the area as according to Ofsted they are not very good. Anyone has any recommendations? Also can anyone advise good/bad areas to live?

I wouldn't if I were you. Steer clear. To give you one example, my daughter didn't have her PE kit one day. She had to do the lesson in her underwear. A 14 year old having to do PE in a mixed lesson with boys wearing literally just her bra and knickers.
