MOVING TO ST LEONARDS WITH A YOUNG CHILD

Hi,
I am thinking about moving to st Leonard’s , I’m not totally alien to the area as my mum now lives in Hastings and I lived there when I was little. I have a 5 year old boy and would love to know peoples thoughts on whether this was a good place for little children, are there things/clubs for them to do places for me to meet other mum etc! I’ve found lots of stuff online saying it’s a great place to move to but most of these articles are by non parents or people with babies. Any insight would be great as my son will have to move schools etc whilst in Y1. Thank you all in advance!
