Does anyone remember the snooker tournament held on the pier in the late 1970s (I think)? I think it was organised by the later lottery winner Mick Maplesden. It featured Jackie Rea doing some trick shots and the players included John Spencer, Doug Mountjoy and Alex Higgins (who made the only century break). My question is : who was/were the other player/players?
