Famous Residents

Does anyone know of famous residents who currently live in Hastings, so far I know of;
- The actor from Little Britain, Steve ????
- Emma B, a model.
- Mark Davis, professional snooker player. (Not to sure if he still resides in the town)

Also can anyone name any former famous residents, so far I know of;
-Grey Owl
-Gareth Barry, aston villa captain and former england player (Should still be in the squad!!!!!!)
-Simon Fuller, music manager.
-Catherine Cookson, writer.
-Kevin Ball, former Sunderland footballer.
-John Logie Baird, inventor of television.
-Paula Yates, used to be a TV presenter.
-Michael Yardy, more recently famous due to his england and sussex cricket firey form.

Don't know if either of you are into dance music but we had two famous DJ's that grew up in Hastings.

John Digweed was world number one for a few years and grew up in Hastings. Danny Howells has also been top ten in previous years and grew up in St Leonards. They both go by those names. John Digweed was known as DJJD in the early days of Storm on the Pier etc but soon changed to his real name when fame headed his way.

Fatboy is more a producer than a world class DJ so i'm suprised he's in there at all to be honest. I am a fan of his music though. Did you know his real name is Norman Cook and he became famouse in the Housemartins, then went on to Beats International and several other AKA's before Fatboy?

Also checked out J Digweed on myspace, he seems quite good, never knew Hastings had some musically talented residents! :w00t:
