I remember teddy mann too....but cant say I remember any rope swing... or even a tin fence.
only rope swing I remember was up on the croft...
but seems your talking where the old wood yard was?
maybe you might remember my brother tich ?
me being teddy Watson...
wow its years and years ago... but I remember one winter ... I had really nice warm gloves on...and teddy mann ripped them off me and filled them with snow... we both laughed hard...
that's nearly 60 years ago...

Looking for anyone who lived in Tin Town from 1955 until it was demolished in 1960.
I lived in number 14 during that time, after 1960 everyone was moved all over Hastings many I never heard of again, if you were there would love to hear your stories of what you remember
i.e The woodyard, the ORE railway bridge, the gangs we played with, Elpinstone Junior School days and anything I may have forgotten....in anticipation
