I am not so sure why the hard right of the conservative (or any) party have to be appeased.
It is not as if they have populist support.

They do not have to be appeased; it is just that they are feared.

Conservatives are now the party of 'far-right ideology and intolerance'
Witness the 'Windrush' debacle (Instigated by T. May) and Home Secretary Jarvid's behaviour against second-generation immigrants like S. Begum...

Corbyn is a far-left politician with pro-Palestinian sympathies.
Once the party of choice for Jews, including impoverished immigrants from Eastern Europe, it lost some ground to the Conservative Party as Labour adopted an increasingly critical attitude towards Israel.
Ed Miliband, the previous Labour leader is Jewish yet did little to condemn the expansion of settlements on the West Bank as a major obstacle to peace in that region.
Corbyn is more outspoken and yet condemned for supporting Palestinians.

We have had all manner of minor parties, NF, BNP, UKIP who seem to be far-right.
I am not sure any of them are/were up to much good either.

In 2014 Ed Miliband took a policy stand on Palestine by backing a two state solution and an end to new settlements and the blockade. He was subjected to a barage of complaint and articles in the Jewish Chronicle, the Board of Deputies and pro Israel press and was labelled an antisemite. Actress Maureen Lipman claimed that Britain was no longer a safe country for Jewish people and that she would have to flee to Israel for her safety. Unfortunately, not to upset the lobby anymore, following a directed sponsored trip to Israel, Ed put international policy on the Middle East on the back burner. Thus it may seem that Ed did little; however, he was in effect silenced for the reason of raising the issue.

Surprisingly, it appeared that 'antisemitism' in Labour and in the country did not warrant any more front page articles about crisis, and Maureen is still ensconced in UK. Amazing overnight it had disappeared, until again a 'crisis' was discovered in 2016 following Mr Corbyn's election, and yet again Maureen has suggested that she has to flee.

Jews are good at lobbying, they seem to scream 'antisemitism' when they feel thwarted.
For some unknown reason many Jewish people support the left-wing both here and in the U.S.A.
They get upset when Labour politicians (even Jewish ones) here try to criticise policies abroad
such as Israeli settlements on land within the Palestinian territories.

Trump sides with the current Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu.
I don't understand why Trump wants to support his democrat opponents.
