I am certainly not bored any more these days.
I like to make shapes, designs in metal, glass, ceramics, drawing, painting.
Not always possible at times without some sort of inspiration (muse) but if you have many things on the go you can switch about and play away as you please.
The college by the station has many 'adult' courses and I have heard they are worth pursuing.
Of course things may be 'on hold' right now.
Find yourself a hobby, be it reading, writing or whatever you can learn from and develop it, push yourself to make progress. Adult education courses are a life-line to many older people in the community.
It is amazing what you can do even in isolation!

I suppose I shouldn't have used the word "bored".
I find the isolation a bore in the sense that I cannot go out, socialise, enjoy live music etc. But I have plenty to keep me busy these days, haven't had time to feel truly bored for many years!

Writing is one of my longstanding passions, I also have an overloaded bookcase full of interesting things found in charity shops (or passed on by friends) which I will get round to reading. With the nice weather, my big Nikon camera will come out of the cupboard shortly .. And if I get irritated by the usual fare offered by TV, I often end up getting up and going to my work bench.

I know several people with few (or no) hobbies/interests/sidelines. It must be quite difficult for them at present - I briefly met one yesterday (pub frequenter) who didn't look at all great and was pretty fed up! Keeping busy is really important. I think people are divided between those who rely on others for stimulation/entertainment and those who are aware that you only have one life - and there is a lot you can do to make it more enjoyable, without always needing other people.
