parking in hastings and st leonards is rubbish it way to expensive for a start and some of the traffic wardens in this town are idiots they treat people stupid and what i really object to is parking charges in conquest hospital it is disgustinly expensive to park in there 1.00 for half an hour thats just making money out of the ill people and injured and west hill road is bad for parking thanks to hastings college students who like to damage your property the twits and what really gets me is the parking for disabled people in this town is not all that great and the council just dont want to know still who can you tell

Your right Kevy, Scotland has just abolished parking charges in Hospitals. My Wife and Daughter work at the Conquest, they both have scratch cards wich they buy, If they forget to scratch they get clobered with a GBP40 fine. Patients visiting dying relatives who don't know how long they are going to be get a fine if their tickets run out, Outpatient visitors with late appointments (Clinic running late) get a fine, do they risk missing their call to go out and buy another parking ticket????

_ _ __ _ __ _ _..as an update on my previous posts, I parked in a slot in the ESK multistory, it seemed awful tight. I happened to have a tape measure and checked the width_ _ __ _ __ _ _it was under sized . Feeling suitably self rightous and smug I rushed home and e-mailed the appropriate dept. Some time later I received a reply informing me that they had re-marked the bays to comply but this had also reduced the number of bays available on that floor.

_ _ __ _ __ _ __ _ __ _ __ _ __ _ _so if you use that carpark and you can't find a place, please accept my apologies >:)

The price it now costs to park in hastings stinks, I was in north wales a couple of weeks back and the parking was 20p per hour, there was plenty of parking spaces along with cctv,
